I was born in Dublin, Ireland and grew up in Kilkenny, Ireland. I currently live in Kilkenny with my husband and children.

I have always loved to draw and colour was an important part of my childhood. In secondary school, I won awards for my artwork and designed the set for one of the local theatre performances. After school I took a different path, but creating was never far from my heart as I often dabbled with different mediums over the years.

In 2018 I began to take my art seriously. I began to study the relationship between light and dark, colours and everything else I could find on the internet! From there I used different mediums to convey different effects. 2019 brought a new and exciting adventure. I began studying pet portraiture in oils under Marion Dutton. The traditional method of oil painting, combined with my love of colour in acrylic, delicate watercolour, hyper realistic coloured pencil, and loose pastels is helping me to fulfill my creative goals.

2019 also brought along another brilliant outlet, Open Circle Community Arts Collective. It’s an amazing programme which has given me a chance to work alongside some very talented artists.

As clichéd as it sounds, I do derive inspiration from the glorious landscapes and seascapes in Ireland. It really is a stunning country to live in. My love of animals is a driving force in my pet portraitures.

My sold works are held in private collections in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
