Thank you so much for your interest in a pet portrait commission. All my pet portraits are completed in oil and my turnaround is generally 4 weeks from payment due to the drying time required for oil paint.

I work directly from your photos. In order for me to do so, I require a clear photograph of your pet, taken from their level.
The cost of your portrait will depend on a couple of things, how many subjects in the painting, how detailed you would like the background, and size. The table below gives an approximate price based on size.

All paintings are completed on sheets of canvas. The canvas sheets are taped down during the painting process, and once dry, are rolled and shipped in tubes. International shipping of canvas sheets is included in the cost. Upon receipt, they can be brought to a local framer who will glue them to a board and frame.
If you wish to have your portrait completed on canvas board or stretched canvas, there will be an additional fee to cover postage. These will be securely packaged to prevent against damage during transit.
All paintings are posted insured and a tracking number will be provided.
Once a photograph is agreed upon by both of us, I will provide a total cost. I will then email you a contract outlining the details of your portrait – size, background, photograph and expected turnaround. All invoicing is completed via PayPal. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before I commence your painting. When your portrait is finished, I will send you photographs for approval, and once approved I will invoice for the balance due. Once full payment is received, I will then ship your painting.
